An Ohio State student was transported to the OSU Hospital emergency room Tuesday afternoon after he was struck by a bus near Woodruff and College avenues.
The student, Yuhao Sun, was in a Woodruff Avenue crosswalk at 12:16 p.m. when a westbound bus struck his left side, knocking him to the ground.
When paramedics arrived, it appeared that Sun had only minor injuries to his left arm and shoulder, but at 1:44 p.m. he requested to be transported to the hospital when he noticed "increasing pain in his left side," said Richard Mormon, OSU Police deputy chief. Sun was taken to the OSU Hospital emergency room but his condition was not immediately available.
